{antiquing}

Last week I took the bus to Toronto and had a layover in Hornell. I had a few hours to kill & so I ventured into the never-ending Erie Line Antiques. The store goes on & on...not only on the first floor, but then extends two floors up. It's a bit of a hodgepodge, and you have to really sort through heaps of stuff, but there are certainly some exceptional gems to be found, and at reasonable prices too!
I love these old trunks displayed in the windows:
{I like the various compartments in this one}

{look at the great details on this one. Do you think this little envelope is for tickets etc??}
Once you reach one of the top floors (which is eerily empty) there's a room in the back that has an original safe built into the wall. It seriously blew me away:
{how amazing is this? Set right into the wall!}

{gorgeous painted detail}
