The countdown is on. In less than 2 weeks I'll be leaving for my month sojourn in Europe. There's been a lot of organising and booking and I think almost all is settled now. More to come about where & what I'm doing and definitely lots of blog posts, but the itinerary includes a conference in Nuremberg, trip to Prague, time spent with cousins & friends in the UK, ending with a wedding in Mallorca. The last arrangement was finalised yesterday--four nights in an English cottage in County Durham for the end of July/early August with two girlfriends. We are going to have a splendid time & I'm already counting down the days...The cottage apparently overlooks a 15th-century manor house that King Henry VIII used as hunting lodge!
